Frequently Asked Questions

Do you allow bitches in heat?  Bitches in heat are allowed, but they must not be in standing heat and they must wear pants.

Can we walk the dogs on the property?  Dogs on lead are welcome to exercise on the grass beside and immediately behind the building.  Due to the presence of skunks, porcupines, deer and our pet cats dogs must stay on lead.

If I bring family or friends to watch do I have to pay for them in the hourly rate? No, only those working dogs are included in the hourly rate but all people present in the arena must have signed the waiver.

How can I pay?  Payment is accepted in cash or cheques made out to Irene Parisien with Red Gate Arena in the memo line

What happens if my dog fouls the arena?  If your dog pees in the arena please use the enzyme spray to liberally douse the area.  If your dog poops in the arena please pick it up (bags provided) deposit it outside in the garbage can and liberally spray the area with the enzyme spray.

Can I move the equipment?  All equipment including the ring barriers can be moved around the arena to suit what you want to do.
